I have a challenge for you.
Next time you go to the grocery store pack an extra $2. Go the the produce aisle and take a very close look at everything. Don’t just grab your bag of salad and dash off; take a few moments to browse.
Your assignment is to find several things you haven’t noticed before.
Your challenge is to buy a small amount of one of those items.
You don’t have to do anything fancy with this mysterious piece of produce. You don’t need to plan ahead of time. This is a treasure hunt and you don’t get a map. Take your newly found item home.
Take a bite out of it. Like it? Good, you might have just found a cheap new snack food. Or maybe, you want to find some ways to work it into dinner.
Hate it? Good. Find some way to feed it to your roommate. He’ll either love you for the free food, or you’ll get some free entertainment when he spits it out.
Let me know what you find,
Melissa
