We’re in a pickle now

I’m working on a post about UO’s chapter of Slow Food. I haven’t had a chance to put everything together and I was hoping to tell you a little about the event they are putting on today. So how about I just tell you and you can come back to read more about them later?

Or, you can go and report back to me?!

There will be a pickling workshop today at the Campbell Club 2 p.m. today and then next Wednesday there will be a workshop on making worm bins for composting (I don’t know what’s going on but it sounds like a hoot!). Here the info:

Wondering how to make sourdough, farmer’s cheese, pickle vegetables or start a worm bin for compost? Well, this is your chance. Slow Food UO is hosting Do It Yourself (DIY) Workshops during the next two weeks, and we want you to join us. Workshops are FREE, but donations for supplies are gladly accepted.

The funny part of this post was originally there were hardly any details and it said, “More details? I soooo don’t have them, workin’ on it though.”

Heave a peachy fine, hunky dory day guys!
